Course 1: Mindfulness-Based Stress and Anxiety Reduction (MBSR)
This is the most widely researched and available Mindfulness Course. It is an 8-week x 2-hour weekly course, plus a retreat day towards the end of the course. We operate in various suitably appointed locations around Cape Town.
This course is now available on a one to one basis via Zoom.
Course 2 Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP)
An 8-week course, incorporating all of the MBSR course, with special application to the many forms of addictions that people are challenged with in today’s harsh conditions.
This course is taught in an understanding and unconditional spirit of acceptance towards all participants. Rather than focusing on the aversion approach of guilt and punishment, we look at self-compassion and understanding. You will be viewed as a person, a human being and not an addict.
I have many years’ experience working alongside people with various addictions. My Certification In Mindfulness-Based Interventions with Stellenbosch University was based on my presentation of this course.
The MBRP offers a NATURAL pathway to healthier stress management. By facing your triggers and gaining insight through a curious, non-judgmental exploration, these powerful triggers can be neutralised.
This specialised course is run in groups of 5 people maximum. Dates and venues are by arrangement. Please make contact.
Course 3 Christ in Mind
An 8-week course, incorporating all the best of the MBSR but specially designed for those seeking to follow the life and teachings of Jesus, the Christ. In this course, we allow the basic practices of Mindfulness that have been so scientifically researched, to enrich our own faith in Christ. “Let this mind be in you, that was also in Christ Jesus,” encouraged the apostle Paul. Here we acknowledge the Body (not the brain or the mind) as the temple – the residence of the indwelling God. We learn by experience some ways of appropriating this inner spiritual presence in dealing with our own issues and struggles.
Previous participants have said, “I have become so much more aware of God’s presence within me.” “Life has opened up in a new and exciting way.” “I have been able to apply the healing presence of God to some very old wounds.” “It was eye-opening to discover how I could manage the powerful inner critic in my mind.”
All courses are on ZOOM. Book now and don’t be disappointed. Please make contact for more information.
Course 4 Mindfulness Workplace Intervention Course
Here you will discover how Mindfulness can help you be the very best that you can be at work while retaining a healthy balanced life. By recognizing the dangers of stress to both physical and mental health, and noticing its addictive nature, you will be able to excel without exhausting your joy for all aspects of life and relationships.
While offering a broad curriculum, the courses recognise differing needs between departments and can make suitable relevant applications.
In addition to the general list of benefits of Mindfulness, more specifically you can look forward to:
- Physically and mentally healthier employees
- More creative responsiveness in times when things go wrong
- Greater accuracy of communication and mutual support among teams
- Healthier attitudes towards responsibilities
- Clearer decision making
The Forbes Coaching Council has this to say:
“Mindfulness is by no means a new concept, but it’s one that has enjoyed a resurgence in our modern world of constant connectivity and distractions. We are bombarded every day by texts, emails, chat messages, phone calls, social media notifications and advertisements — and that’s all on top of the hundreds of thoughts racing through our minds at any given time.
It can be difficult to tune those things out and devote our full attention to the situation, conversation or task at hand, especially in the workplace, but being present and mindful means being more focused and productive. If you want to decrease stress and increase efficiency among your team members, encourage them to practice mindfulness.”
The course is practical, experiential, workable and sensible.
The course structures are sufficiently flexible to be able to adapt to differing timetables, in total covering between 8 and 20 hours of training depending on local needs and the course of choice.

Throughout the course we move through the following topics in-depth, bringing healing and peace to all the different areas in which you are currently struggling.
Week One: What does it really mean to grieve? We explore the process and your own individual path.
Week Two: We dive into the deep stuff like guilt, anger, and anything left unresolved following your loss.
Week Three: All about anxiety. How it relates to your loss, how to manage it, and how to overcome it.
Week Four: What does it mean to find resilience within your grief process? We take inventory of your life and where the big shifts need to happen.
